I am an Assistant Principal at Council Grove Elementary and focus on behavior and trauma informed practices.  I have created a "Student Support Room" in my building and have established a "Chain of Support" discipline response team. We focus on meeting students basic needs, co-regulation, and restorative practices. We use behavior data to make decisions about Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier Behavior Interventions as well as communicating or advocating for wrap-around mental health services.  I track building behavior data through daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual logs, as well as through our benchmark screener, ODRs, attendance, and grades.
